Join Gunjack for an insightful session where he breaks down his creative process, crafting a Detroit-influenced techno track using both hardware and Ableton Live. For the price of two courses, you’ll gain access to watch him build two tracks from scratch—one using hardware synths and drum machines, and the other fully in-the-box with Ableton Live. Gain valuable insights into his workflow, gear philosophy, and time management strategies in the studio.
The masterclass is divided into two engaging parts:
Part 1: In this session, Gunjack takes you through his hardware-driven creative process, building a track from scratch by composing, arranging, recording, mixing, and finalising it live. His setup includes powerful tools like the Akai Force, Elektron Digitone, Roland TR-8, Synthark MSP-AJx (Roland AlphaJuno), Roland PG-200, and the Boss Space Echo RE-202. He also demonstrates multitrack recording in Ableton Live, capturing his entire jam seamlessly in one go.
Part 2: The second part of the masterclass shifts focus to a fully in-the-box production workflow. Gunjack demonstrates how to compose, arrange, mix, and finalise a track entirely within Ableton Live, emphasizing a fast, efficient, and creative approach to finishing tracks quickly. Explore both hardware and software workflows as Gunjack breaks down practical, hands-on strategies for producing intense techno tracks with clarity and speed.
